Estonia is the World's Most Innovative Models of Education

It's no secret that Estonia has been at the forefront of innovative education models, with a strong focus on computer literacy. In fact, the small Baltic nation has set computer literacy as one of its highest national priorities, and it's paying off – today, Estonian students rank among the best in the world in terms of digital skills.

Now other countries are taking notice and looking to emulate Estonia's success. Singapore, for instance, is one of many nations currently planning to implement similar reforms to strengthen its own citizens' digital fluency.

There are plenty of reasons why parents would want their children to study IT. For one, a strong grounding in information technology is increasingly becoming essential for success in nearly every field – from medicine and finance to design and manufacturing. What's more, learning how to code can be incredibly empowering; it teaches kids how to solve problems independently and think creatively. And let's not forget that IT skills are simply a lot of fun!
