Creativity

We prioritize the creation of knowledge over the consumption. Because knowledge is personal, every person creates his/her own knowledge as they construct meaning behind it. This is true creativity, which brings about true change. Where every moment of learning is an invention to the inventor (student).

Metacognition

We focus on helping students to know when they know, know when they don’t know, and know what to do when they don’t know. In other words, it involves self-monitoring and correcting your own learning processes. Only through this, does meaningful self-directed change become possible.

Collaboration

We promote collaboration to build our students' social qualities. By engaging and empathizing with others, our students develop the skills they need to work together to find solutions that bring about change.

Experiential

We encourage our students to make mistakes. Mistakes provide personal evidence of any experience and are thus, true creators of knowledge. By experiencing mistakes, students are more capable of deriving meaningful changes to solve any problem.

Adaptable

We always make room for change in our learning and teaching process. We do not believe that there is only one way, and continuously strive to give meaningful variety in our approach to cater to the needs of every single student.

Purpose

Our purpose is to solve the following pain points & challenges within the education landscape:

Lack of relevant education

One of the major pain points that Kidocode is addressing is the need for education that is relevant to the rapidly evolving economy. Many students find that traditional education doesn't adequately prepare them for the real-world challenges they'll face in their careers. By offering courses and a learning platform that are focused on real-world relevance, Kidocode is helping to bridge the gap between education and industry.

Lack of technology integration

Another pain point that Kidocode is addressing is the need for technology integration in education. With the rise of digital technologies, it's more important than ever for students to have the skills and knowledge to use these tools effectively. By incorporating AI into their learning platform, Kidocode is helping students to develop these skills and stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly changing technological landscape.

Lack of collaboration and entrepreneurship skills

Kidocode is also addressing the need for students to develop skills in collaboration and entrepreneurship. These skills are becoming increasingly important in today's economy, where teamwork and innovation are key to success. By focusing on these skills, Kidocode is helping to prepare students for the challenges of the future and empowering them to become leaders and innovators in their fields.

Over-dependence on teachers

One of the common pain points in traditional education is the over-dependence on teachers. In many cases, students rely heavily on teachers to provide information and guidance, which can lead to a passive learning experience. Students may feel like they are simply receiving information, rather than actively engaging with it and developing their own understanding.

Kidocode is addressing this pain point by providing an AI-integrated learning platform that empowers students to take charge of their own learning, while allowing teachers (trainers) to only step in when needed. By leveraging AI technology, Kidocode is then able to help students to become more self-directed and engaged learners, rather than simply relying on teachers for guidance.

Rigid learning structure

Another common pain point in traditional education is the rigid learning structure. Many students find that traditional classroom settings can be inflexible and may not accommodate different learning styles and needs. For example, students who learn at a different pace or have different interests may struggle to keep up with the pace of the class.

Kidocode is addressing this pain point by offering flexible learning structures that allow students to learn at their own pace and in their own way. By using AI technology to personalize learning experiences, Kidocode can adapt to the needs and preferences of each individual student. This can help students to stay engaged and motivated, and help them to develop a deeper understanding of the material.
